This policy explains how The Wellness Picklist handles information through thewellnesspicklist.com. For questions or requests about your information, use our Contact Us page.

Information you send us

Our contact form uses WPForms Lite and asks for your name, email address, and message. Submitted information is included in email notifications to the site administrator and is used to review and respond to your inquiry, investigate corrections, and keep relevant correspondence. Sending a contact message does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Please do not submit payment details, passwords, medical records, or other sensitive information.

Technical information and site operation

Hosting, email, and site protection services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and error records to deliver the website, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse. We use WordPress, site caching, and site security tools. Caching temporarily stores copies of pages to improve loading speed.

Cookies and accounts

WordPress uses cookies for login sessions and account preferences. Public account registration is currently disabled. Where commenting is available, WordPress processes the information submitted with the comment, IP address, and browser information. Approved comments and the display name may be public. An optional comment cookie can remember your details for one year. Some pages have comments closed, and current settings require login to comment.

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies needed for sign-in or other functions may prevent those features from working.

Fonts, images, and external content

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser sends connection information, including your IP address and browser details, to Google when requesting those files. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Where images or embedded content are served by another provider, your browser connects to that provider and may share similar technical information. If an avatar is displayed through Gravatar, a hash derived from the associated email address may be sent to that service. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy. External providers apply their own privacy practices.

Retailer and affiliate links

Affiliate links contain identifiers used to attribute purchases. When you follow a retailer link, including an Amazon link, the retailer may use cookies or similar technology under its own privacy notice. Your purchase takes place on the retailer’s website; we do not receive your payment-card details through an affiliate purchase. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Analytics, advertising, and newsletters

As of the date above, the MonsterInsights Google Analytics connection is not configured and OptinMonster is not connected. This policy does not describe those tools as active analytics or newsletter services. We will review this policy when introducing analytics, advertising, newsletter subscriptions, or other data collection.

Use, sharing, and retention

We use information to operate and protect the site, answer messages, maintain editorial accuracy, and meet applicable obligations. Hosting and email providers process information needed to provide those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.

Correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the inquiry and maintain relevant records. Comments and associated metadata may remain until removed. Technical records and temporary caches follow the relevant service’s operational retention settings. Records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Service providers may process information outside your country. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you through Contact Us. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, portability, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, or a complaint to a data protection authority. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law and circumstances. We may need proportionate information to verify your request; do not send passwords or payment details.

Children

The site is intended for an adult shopping audience. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information so we can review and address it.
